My previous job is Harvest prawn because it was Peneaus monodon or tiger prawn.

Hydrated lime attracts shrimp?
ReplyDeleteHydrated lime combine with water resulted in heat and shrimp will swim to deeper water to avoid it.
ReplyDeleteThe pond designed so that there will be a bowl shape like in the outlet where a bamboo sticks rounded up around. There will be an opening to a long net that will capture the incoming shrimp. HDPE cover the base of the bamboo stick up to 1.5 meter to prevent shrimp escape.
So that's how it was done but sometimes wasn't perfect. It was usually too wet to take picture. I would either be in the water or got splash during transfer of shrimp to processing area.
